Easiest Ways On How To Root Tecno Phantom 6 (A6)

WOW, my main aim of liking Android devices is due to the fact that Android users can root there Android phone at any time or any day. But I don’t just root my phone anyhow, I root my Android for an important reason either to have dominion over it completely or other tangible reason.

Though Tecno Phantom 6 unveiled recently but nevertheless, I will show you how you can root you Tecno Phantom 6 easily. And note, Tecno Phantom 6 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of box, just stay with me while am showing you the requirements and steps for rooting Tecno Phantom 6

Before I show you the steps, these are the requirements below for rooting Tecno Phantom 6

1. Twrp recovery image Ported by Team Hovatek (download here)

2. Super (download it here)

3. Unlocking the boot-loader of Tecno Phantom 6 (A6)

Now this is how to root Tecno Phantom 6 below…..

>> Copy the downloaded Super SU to both internal storage of your phone and SD card.

>> Setup ADB and Fastboot on the PC using the guide here
>> Now extract and copy the twrp recovery.img into the same folder as the fastboot.exe and adb.exe

>> Unlock Tecno Phantom 6 bootloader by following the steps here

>> Connect the phone to your PC via USB cord while switched ON and boot it into Fastboot (as instructed in the Bootloader unlock guide; remember to enable OEM unlocking and USB debugging)

>> The moment your device enters fast boot, flash the recovery.img to the phone by typing the command below then pressing Enter

fastboot boot recovery.img

>> The device should automatically enter twrp recovery mode

In TWRP, if you get a prompt asking you to swipe to allow modification of the System partition, tap KEEP READ ONLY

If TWRP offers to root the phone, select NO

>> In TWRP recovery, tap Install

>> Navigate to the location of the and select it

>> Swipe to confirm flashing of and wait till flashing is complete

Reboot the phone normally.

So after those stuffs, confirm if your device has been successfully rooted by installing root checker.
